Remotely Manage Desktop Document Libraries

Organizations with large distributed sales and support teams, whether employees or agents, are challenged to keep document libraries current on the user’s personal computers. Sales and support staff are often on the road and need local access to those documents, but are often too busy to keep their local documents current.

BDAs have the unique power to manage these local document libraries, enabling a firm to keep them current with the click of a button. A BDA with a library management function can automatically download current documents to user’s desktops and remove old documents from user’s machines. Parameters can also be set by the user or administrator to make sure that only relevant documents are downloaded and auto-fill functions can convert standard documents into PDFs to save time.

Additionally, many organizations find it particularly valuable to be able to monitor document usage by individual team members while providing additional personalized information channels (including personalized sales targets, incentives and dashboards).
