
Siemens came to OTOi looking to redesign their LifeNet portal to improve overall usability and functionality, so that they would be able to better serve their customer needs. OTOi set out on a detailed discovery process, analyzing workflow inefficiencies to develop prototypes that made vast improvements on existing designs.

OTOi set out on a detailed discovery process, uncovering a number of internal workflow inefficiencies. Next, OTOi developed a working suite prototype for full usability testing.
Results:
LifeNet 2.0 has been live since February ‘08, with plans for another release in the near future.
It provides customers with a wider range of self-service option and vastly improved tools for managing inventory, invoicing and service records.
