One to One select Bluestreak's IonMail system for e-mail campaign management and transmission

One to One is excited to announce the selection of
Bluestreak as its new e-mail transmission
vendor. Approximately twelve e-mail vendors, including
DoubleClick's Dartmail, ClickAction, MessageMedia, @Once, and
Britemoon, were considered. Five of the twelve vendors were invited
to present their company's capabilities in more depth. Following a
rigorous review process, One to One made its decision after
carefully reviewing each vendor across a number of important
variables. These included:
- Dynamic personalization technology
- Ability to implement test cells
- Flexible campaign execution interface
- Sophisticated response management and real time reporting
capabilities
- Ability to implement response rules
- Segmentation capabilities
- Multi format e-mail support & detection
- Survey capabilities
- Database security
- Extensibility with websites, databases and e-commerce
systems
- In-bound campaign execution
- Post-click tracking
- E-mail transmission fees
- Customer service
While many of the products met some of One to One's
requirements, Bluestreak's IonMail platform proved to be the most
feature rich and complete solution to support the firm's Fortune
500 clientele and their individual e-mail marketing objectives. "A
flexible architecture, robust data management, strong customer
service, and elegant user interface differentiated (Bluestreak)
from the competition," stated Dan Towvin, Director of Database
Marketing for One to One Interactive, who played a major role in
the vendor selection process.
One to One will spend the next several weeks undergoing training
and testing of the new tool and plans to be ready to execute e-mail
transmissions through Bluestreak's e-mail system by the beginning
of October.
