BtoB Magazine lists StateStreet.com among the top 100 B-to-B web site.

State Street Corp's public website,
http://www.statestreet.com/was recognized in the
August 11th edition of BtoB Magazine as one of the Top 100 B-to-B
web sites online, in terms of marketing effectiveness. State Street
engaged One to One Interactive to redesign and manage the current
site in 2001.
BtoB began the evaluation in June. They created a master list of
about 800 sites composed of those who were honored last year, new
sites nominated this year and sites of companies that are leaders
in their industries. Each site was given points in five main
categories for a total of 100 possible points. Thirty of these
points were discretionary. The categories were:
- Quality and Presentation of Information
- Ease of Navigation
- Design
- E-Commerce
- Extras
State Street scored a 91 out of 100. The judge's comments
were:
"Colorful, well-organized design is easy to navigate and has all
the basics. ÊHas nice extras, such as video, weekly e-mail reports,
and research."
Others who scored a 91 were: Bank of America, Wachovia Corp.,
U.S. Bancorp, Intel, General Electric, Lotus, RealNetworks, Sybase,
eRoom, Armstrong Holdings, Air Products & Chemicals Inc., &
ADC Telecommunications.
