the Moosejaw Communicator to outdoor enthusiasts. This Branded
Desktop Application (BDA) provides consumers with a daily dose of
Moosejaw’s unique sense of humor as well as daily opportunities to
save big on the latest and greatest in outdoor sporting goods and
equipment.
The Moosejaw Communicator won the 2007 Best Retail Interactive
Application category of the Web Marketing Association’s Internet
Advertising Competition.
The Moosejaw Communicator was developed and is continuously
managed using OTOlabs’ proprietary ThinkDesktop™ platform. The
platform allows Moosejaw Mountaineering to stay in constant
communication with customers by providing a direct connection to

In less than a minute a PC user can install and use the Moosejaw
Communicator. After installation the Moosejaw Communicator is
launched on the desktop each time the computer boots up for instant
delivery of that day’s new Daily Remark as well as the latest ‘Tha
Lowdown’ product deal. Additionally as new content becomes
available the Communicator sends the PC user an alert and instantly
updates the content in the application window.
